    This is a perfect party for a person who has a sweet tooth. It’s yum! He is very adorable and that cake is eye catching. I am sure it would have been a great party. I would love to get a cake like this for my little one’s birthday. We have finalized an event space NYC for his birthday celebration. This post tells me that I have to make this day a very special one.

Since I've been here, most of my findings about the city were done online which earned me the nickname of  "Google it" among my friends. Although the ressources are minimal, however over the years more and more sites have been emerging to help expats and locals move around the country, find something they are looking for and so on. Recently I came upon this great blog that I found through facebook, "Les marraines de Luanda", make sure to look them up, they also have a blog under the same name http://lesmarrainesdeluanda.blogspot.com/  . It's a blog written in French by several contributing expats. The various categories that it includes makes it super easy to navigate and to find exactly what you are looking for. The Story of Carla...

There’s someone I want you to meet, someone within the first five minutes of our gathering their story fascinated me, their endurance for life motivated me and dedication for motherhood filled my heart. I want you to meet Carla, in my head (and on my phone) I call her Carla crossfit but she’s not defined by what she does, because she has done so much in her life , and definitely will be doing a lot more now that she’s a mother as well, so read along w on’t you? She’s a former competitive kayaker in South Africa and the Netherlands, 3 time winner of  The Lowland’s Throwdown which is   a huge Crossfit competition that takes place in The Netherlands since 2010.
