24 hours with kids in Dubai

We have been accustomed lately into using Emirates when flying back and forth from Angola to Lebanon.
And I have created a habit, maybe a bad one, of extending the usual 9hours stopover in Dubai of the Beirut-Luanda flight to a couple of days or more.
Each time we go there I find new things to do with the kids, with a regular visit to the aquarium of the Dubail Mall as requested each time by my son.
So whether you decide to visit Dubai for a family vacation or a 24 hours stopover before your next destination, there's surely something exciting to discover and do every single time.

Below are my top destinations for visiting Dubai with kids, these are places we visited over the past two years of stopovers (lets keep calling them this way:) )

1- The Green Planet Dubai
 thegreenplanetdubai.com

Prepared to be wowed before your kids! From the moment you enter a huge indoor vertical rainforest with numerous types of tropical birds, insects and animals.
Definitely worth a visit!

2-The Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo

3- The Journey and stroll on Kite Beach
thejourneydubai.com

Take a stroll on Kite Beach then take your kids to experience a couple of hours of adventure beween mini waterfalls, climbing rcoks and threads among other activities like archery.

4-IMG worlds of  Adventure
imgworlds.com
It's the world's largest indoor them park. With 4 different themes Marvel, Cartoon Network, Lost Valley and IMG boulevard with each having their own theme parks and restaurants.
We had the chance to visit it in the first two weeks of its opening, so it was pretty crowded and we had to buy fast track tickets to be able to play a couple of games. Pictures from inside the park were not that clear due to the lighting adjusted to the different themes!

Recommended for kids 7 years and older!

5- Mattel Playtown Dubai
playtowndubai.com

Located in City Walk 2, playtown Dubai offers a new exciting concept for kids playgrounds.
It includes a play area dedicated to bob the builder, another to Thomas and Friends, one for Angelina Ballerina and one for  Fireman Sam. Located on the second floor is an exact replica of Barney's playground and classroom, with live interactive shows happening throughout the day, Highly recommended for kids aged 2 to 8!

And as they are advertising the Dubai parks and resorts will be open by Ocotber 31st,  and will include Legoland and a waterpark among other interactions. so am sure I will always have a reason to pass by on my way to Angola!!

  2. Nice post! I have 2 kids and managing them in the house for an entire year of lockdown was very difficult. However, I recently heard that the local authorities in Dubai are easing travel restrictions. This has enabled me to get a visa for my wife and kids. We have already started adding some amazing tourist attractions such as the Dubai Fountain, the Frame & the Green Planet Dubai among others.
