Kids Approved Energy Balls
In an effort to try and diversify the lunchbox to include healthier options, i figured i will try those energy balls that i've been eeing all over pinterest. I got the kids involved so they get tempted into actually eating them, they have chocolate chips after all! The nice things about them is that you can literally base your recipe on whatever you have in your pantry from nuts and seeds. There are so many different alterations you can use, but this is what had in the pantry and i included 1 cup of rolled oats 1/2 cup of crushed cashews 1/4 cup of honey 1/3 cup Almond butter 1/4 cup goji berries 1/4 cup chopped dates and around 1/2 cup chocolate chips for the full instructions take a look at the video below
